If you think a DB7 is bad, try a Vantage or Virage:
Dashboard out of a Granada, built like a shed - uneven panel gaps as standard, scary brakes, scarier steering/handling and no suspension.
Newer models aren't much better in build quality either.
Awful cars, will never ever touch an Aston...just a posh TVR - and that's me being nice

Why then do people buy them?
Is it simply to get the Badge?
Surely people can't be so shallow?
A Honda NSX comes into the price range!!

Well, they do look the dogs danglies.
Even though all the newer models look almost the same.
Must admit AM Works Service is one the best main dealers I've come across, but at their labour rates I bloody well hope so. And they've had plenty of practice at sorting them out
One of their current offerings is a full manual gearbox conversion to the Vanquish: They finally admitted the paddle shift gearbox is crap
They've still yet to cure the boot lid warping though
