I remember when that tsunami hit on boxing day
The next day there were T shirts with slogans on such as "i rode the Tsunami"
etc
I thought those were a bit harsh

Theres a teenage local wannabe thug round our way who wears a red England football shirt and on the back is printed "BNP" across the shoulders with the number one down the back...
He is obviously under the misguided notion that the BNP are a hard line racist movement who are in kind with his skinhead and adolescent beliefs
He probably hopes it will offend some folk
All it really does make people laugh and shake their head in disbelief... What will he do in a year or so's time when he softens up a bit, get one with UKIP on it?
His mate could be a communist! He should get one with 'Tony Benn is fit' on his
Seriously, while I know this child clearly has special needs and is trying to offend, it has the opposite effect. I just pity him

I have a top with 'b*ll*cks' written across the front in exactly this format, ie 2 stars instead of o's.
A few years ago I changed the number plates on a BMW I owned. The garage asked if I wanted anything written in the small writing underneath the main letter.
I had F**K OFF but with all the the letters in the correct place. I never once got challenged about it nor haven't about my B*ll*cks top.
I have been told though that its not strictly an offence to wear or display potentially offensive language. It only becomes an offence if someone takes an offence (you still with me).
If someone complains to the police about it apparently they have to act.
A copper can make his own complaint so if he wants he can nick you.
Seems daft to me.

I'm offended that you're offended constable. Now watch as their brain ties itself in knots and they have to get their mate to nick them for having caused offence.

on a similar note I have heard that you can't tell a copper he's a c**t but its obviously not an offence to think it.
I wonder what would happen if you told him that you think he is one.

I would be more tempted to ask them if they operate a no blame culture - like merseyside plod claim to!. So why then are they blaming me for causing offence. ![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
I can just see that one having the effect of mental meltdown on some spotty 16 year old PCSO.

I think it is offensive that the t-shirt is so BIG!!
I had another photo of a hottie in a tiny vest with the same logo out in the streets of New York - much better pic that I cannot find! Grrr!
