Rednick used to ro for sidc and we'd have anything from 2 to 12 turn up but the majority of the time it was 2 or 3, then Stefan took over for SWS
but by that time I was long gone.

I mainly do national meets with the WR1OC, which does track days to silverstone, croft, cadwell, oultonpark etc plus weve done 2 trips to the ring the F1 circuit Spa in Belguim over the last few years, and not forgetting the RR days.

What will make people turn up for meets is beyond me, seems local people dont like travelling, but Scoobybits being down here will help, bound to get local owners going there hopefully it will become a good meeting point.

Make 3rd Oct the first one , everyone got loads a notice!! Then echo above re days out/scheduled meets.
We have a track day due soon after the first meet perhaps make plans towards that?

 

The next meet is on the 30th August at the borough arms in bodmin at 1.30.

Hello, drive a red bugeye in and around newquay most, Kaz told me to get on hear as sidc is really quiet on Cornish members and meets. Gearbox went on wednesday night so wont be out and about for a bit

Nice you'll like it, bought the cable and software for mine the other day as she needs to go on the rollers to sort out a small issue that and get the emissions down some more.

Did think about having anti lag and launch control fitted but i've left it go for now.

Well i could have it fitted but i've an mot next month as well so in the past two months i've shelled out near £1000 so as you can imagine im currently tighter than a ducks **** for safteys sake.

As for how i find it, very good just sits there and does it's thing, i will be removing the board later on and drill a hole where the port is making it easier to work on, i will be fitting a rubber plug in there as well to stop crap from getting in.

She runs around 1.45/1.5 bar so about 340/350hp i should imagine, bit twitchy in traffic or when cold but that's down to my having a 4.3kg flywheel and 1kg crank wheel up front.

Starting wise she's perfect every time, i just wait for the fuel system to prime otherwise she's grumpy always been like that though plus im running 550cc injectors anyway.
