my guess is the MAF
not good that the garage didn't help you after they did work on it, wouldn't go there again
is it a Jap import (I know your name is WRX!), maybe someone here can say if the MAF is different or not
unplug it, start it and see if the tick over is different

I wouldnt take it anywhere except to the garage that fitted it and ask them to 'try' another as you dont think its right

apparently if you unplug a good maf with engine running it will stall, if the maf is faulty the car will still run but lower revs, not sure on this myself but worth a go
so on that, if it stalls its not the maf

I've unplugged it whilst it was running and it stayed running, I phoned my local tuner they said some do and don't cut out. I've order original plugs which will be ere marra coz iridium plugs are know to cause scoobys probs, also theyve said about fuel pump trouble which wud also make sense?? Grrrrr

When you say local tuner do you mean the garage that fitted it?

and who has ordered the plugs, you or the garage?

that is strange as plugs wouldnt cause boost issues you still need to reset yr ecu easyest way is to disconnect the battery for an hr then if you get any further issues the ecu will only have fresh codes

I've noticed the boost gauge is still goin mad when boosting but I'm hoping its a naf gauge.
Also thanks for all your comments and ideas they've been a great help ;-)

Hi guys new to cornwall and have just got my scoob back on the road after a long lay off!!! currently running in a 2.1 enginetuner built stroker 1000 miles feels more like a million at the moment. can't wait to get her mapped up and ready for a good play.
anyway am interested in any meets as it would be cool to get to know people down here. Also flogging a load of parts at the moment, so would be more happy to do it locally.
ow here are a few pics,

Sam
