It's all in the mind.
True, but Davey's 'replicas' all say Rolex on the dial and that makes them fakes, whether they have a £12 ETA movement in them or not...

"£12" ETA movement lol! I want some of what you are drinking....

Even from my whole saler I cant get a loose pack 2824 for less than £36+.. Retail on a factory 2824 is nigh on £80..

I was going to say something similar. ETA have hiked their prices-not that they were ever £12. Maybe he was thinking of some POS Chinese movement+postage?

Could be!

The ETA factory assembled movements (Zinc coloured ones) are still very expensive even TAG and RADO are using loose pack (gold coloured movements) because they can get them assembled by factories in the far east and make a saving, its all a bit cheeky really..

Even the 2836/2824 movements used in the automatic versions are £50/£40 respectively...
I was quoting your own price...

Can you read? I have a poster of a painting I bought from Athena that has a Matisse signature on it. Does that make it a fake?
