Looks good to me, mudflaps are a bit off but apart from that i don't think you have taken anything away from the RB5.

Now if you'd stuck some aftermarket wheels on then yes i'd say you would have ruined it, but you aint so its all good.

each to there own taste fella ,all that matters is if your happy with it.if you post pics askin for opinions you ll always get critisism when you stray from the standard look, especialy on the special editions. im into the less is more look.i have mainly standard classic sti v3. changed wheels and had v6 rear spoiler when i bought it.

yer agreed mate..

just trying to get it to my personal taste..

P1 splitter and v5 spoiler on next week...then thats it for the exterior.

spoiler should look good but if the splitter looks naff then ill remove it...

flaps are mainly on there now cos it keeps the side of the car ALOT cleaner

Well your taste isn't good, personal or not. As for replacing the Prodrive/Eibach springs and geo for Teins and a God-knows-what set-up, well, I just cannot imagine why you'd want to alter what has been widely acknowledged as the sweetest classic chassis. Still, you and your illiterate posse clearly know best, so I'll leave you to it.

haha

maybe you should check up on the RB5 mate as it never came with prodrive or any sort of uprated suspension.....

as far as i am aware just standard wrx ones... so infact i have improved the chassis with the teins...

Just feel i need to add to this thread.

Reeper mate, keep up the good the work fella the car is looking awesome.

And..............

As far as the bloke JTaylor making comments about Angers car, well dude get a life! I appreciate the approach to RA weight saving etc etc, but listen pal Anger has taken that car to the next level and given it the guts you forgot to add, and i reckon it's got a whole lot more to offer in the future.

I was luck enough to go out in Angers car today and to say thats a fine example of a top quality RA would be an understatement.

Reeperb5 - All forums have their goods and bads. "SS" isn't exactly the most friendliest in my opinion - infact I think it is a little "clicky" to say the least.

Atleast I have got to know some people on here and i've only been a member for a few weeks if that. This forum also brings a good debate from a sect of people - whether good or bad....at the end of the day most of us share a common interest of owing a scoob!

As a previous owner of an old age scoob (Jap STI IV Type R) your car looks great. What is important is what makes you happy fella...each to their own. I have a WR1 and it is completely standard - even the cd/radio/cassette player is the original scooby make...but this is entirely of my choice. If I sold it to someone who mods it then it is their decision indeed - infact I am sometimes tempted to go from 320 break to 400 with the loudest dump valve you can find!
