The Jet-Hot coating is applied in the US, we could in theory get this done to your headers but you would have to pay shipping both ways so it's not going to be cost effective.
An alternative is to have them ceramic coated here in the UK, since 2004 we have been having our exhaust systems coated by the same people that many WRC teams use, it's not cheap but in my mind the benefits far out way the cost.
If you look around elsewhere, it seems like other tuners are beginning to cotton on with this ceramicy coating whatsit

If you'd like to make an enquiry on getting any components coated, uppipe, downpipe, headers, exhaust housings etc. then please contact me by email. Replies to PM's will be slow as I get very little time to visit the forums.

GTSPEC have three types of manifold available,
  • GenII - their 'unequal' length, and most popular manifold
  • GenIII - their 'equal' length manifold
  • Twinspool manifold - to suit the IHI range of twinscroll turbos as found on the JDM models, this is a direct replacement or can be used to convert a conventional single scroll to a twinscroll set-up along with JDM sump and suitable turbo.

The GenIII manifolds are priced at £75 more than the GenII manifolds and all three types can be JetHot coated if required.

Is it a venturi up-pipe that comes with the coated unequal headers? If not how much without the up-pipe?
cheers Jon

IMO, the GT Spec are fit and forget. I've had them on my car for almost two years. Prior to that, I went through two sets of 'quality' headers that cracked at the collector, split the up-pipe flexi and/or kept blowing the gasket, which puts an immediate stop to a track day. The 3 bolt up pipe flange works very well and had no gasket problems at all.

Kinda died fella with a massive lack of interest.

Trouble is, people are more happy to buy cheap ebay sh1te than buy a proper product. Too many comments on how cheaper they are elsewhere etc blah blah blah

Sorry mate, I am a quilty party of that bragade but after asking the man that knows, he says its not worth saving the £50-£100 on the cheaper copy GT Spec headers due to the loss in performance.

Do you need to buy 10 to get the discount?
