Your blind faith in the capabilities of the clowns who control this country is touching but seriously misguided. The principal that you say is also a fast way to losing all our personal freedoms and giving absolute power over ourselves to the authorities. You may of course fancy the idea of a police state!

The police have already admitted in an interview that keeping DNA of everyone in this country is a mindbending task and how long do you think it will take for the first ID card to be cloned on the day that they come into force?

Question

...and another thing.

as britain is a signatory to the EU Prum Treaty, access to a national DNA database would also be given to government agencies across all 27 member states. this multiplies the opportunity for failures and abuse 27 fold.

you happy with that lewis?
