certainly opens your eyes to genetics, and how selfish family members can be in obtaining / giving samples (not my side btw)

The police have already admitted in an interview that keeping DNA of everyone in this country is a mindbending task and how long do you think it will take for the first ID card to be cloned on the day that they come into force?

as britain is a signatory to the EU Prum Treaty, access to a national DNA database would also be given to government agencies across all 27 member states. this multiplies the opportunity for failures and abuse 27 fold.
