Had a play with a lancia delta intergrale the other day ,stayed with him off the lights and then for about a mile long road kept right there with him.
Don,t know how quick these things are,but sounded really good and looked the bo**ocks.

A guy in one of them little Bubble Smart Cars.
On the way back from Telford (their all mad there driver wise ) back down to Worcs.
This guy was on a mission.
In and out of the traffic, got to admit it went well in the slow moving traffic and cos he was so small, could nip in and out without upsetting people.
He would have done, by cutting up folk in a full sized car
I just tagged along and watched him.
They are nippy little things in slow moving A Road traffic where Joe Public won't overtake.
I wonder what sort of engine, Lb a foot and stuff it was?
Regards.

I had a VW Polo Mk4 next to me with a few young lads in it. driver was revving the car and they had big smiles on their faces then i let him continue with his sillyness, cuts in front of me and starts weaving in and out of traffic as if i'm going to chase him!
don't get what point some people try to prove! i thought all this madness would stop when i bought the Scooby!

Now, ive got a 2003 STi. Coming off a roundabout onto a dual carriageway i had a fiat coupe 20v turbo right up my @rse. I dropped a gear and floored it but i didnt pull away at all??? Mildly embarrased i came off the gas and pulled to the inside lane, he overtook and to my disgust it sounded like a bag of nails What is that all about? Didnt think they were that quick.

Learner driver instructor, or someone who had stole his car:
Overtook him on a dual carriage way as we came off an island. He caught up and i towed him for about 6 miles. Then he overtook, with a blind crest imminent. Just made it with a car flashing over the bump. Slammed his brakes on and turned right, causing me to brake quite heavily. Numpty.
That's what scottish leaner drivers have to lOOk forward to.
TBH, i don't get that much trying and i don't rise to it either. Waste of fuel........Unless it has a chance.

I was allowed to be cocky, I had just re-taxed my car so my glove box was full of ID, cover note etc...........

i actually havent had any cars try to race me that are that out of the ordinary except one of those 4x4 cosworth converted gartrac escorts. Ive had the VK sponsored Focus rally car overtake me, but i let him go, thought he might be late for a stage or something.

I feel sorry for 'Boy Racers'.
I think a fast car only really hits home when you afford to but one. (probably 20 onwards) It's only taken me 15 Years!
It's superb when you know that corsa's and saxo's and M3's and boxsters are all fodder!

It tends not to happen in the town/city but I get it most times out on the open road.
Recently I've had a Ford Ka 04 plate with twin exit exhaust, Peugeot 206 who tried to pass me coming up to a roundabout on dual carriageway , and my favourite a newish Nissan Jeep (whatever they are). I waited until he was almost along side me, stuck it in third while blipping throttle, he got right up inline with me when the boost came in
I'll never forget the look on his passengers face, a picture
I do admit to being a dick occasionally, and I never let ***** in **** cars pass me on A/B roads. In fact I never let anyone pass me on A/B road I get blown away on the dualler (dual carriageway) all the time though, I was banned for 105 on the dual carriageway (70 limit) 4 years ago so now I show great restraint on the said roads (No faster than 90 )
