Tell 'em to stick their fiver up their sphincter, say your gonna take it up with environmental health and give the local paper a ring, they may offer you more than a fiver to shut your gob

When I had something similar - Ladybird in a bag of peas - I returned the peas and the cooked Ladybird to the store and asked that they refund the cost of the meal, circa £25. They did without question and gave me the biggest cream cake in the store.

Say to them that £5 is an insult to you for bringing this to their attention, and for them to make a reasonable offer (if they ask what you think is reasonable say £150 or something), wait for them to bulk at it and offer £20-£50. Accept the new offer if you feel satisified.
