I agree, its the daddy alright. I had the pleasure of seeing one in the flesh at TOTB. I even got some pics
I know that many dislike the Classic/newage, but every Impreza owner should treat this with the utmost respect. Truly a gorgeous looking car.

I had the privilage of parking next to this one on the Richard Burns memorial run, it is owned by one of the Scottish members on sidc and the plate on the car is real althought he no longer has the plate.

I must be honest Cos I was thinking that. I agree that they are the daddy in terms of coolness and rarity, but wouldnt a newage JDM be a much quicker/mechanically superior car ?

I think so, technology moves on so quickly, my RS500 cosworth was the daddy back in the day and still commands serious respect but most performance cars these days will keep up with it, unless you modify it but then its not worth as much and loses its character.

have you drove one ,I drove mine yesterday,the wife has an evo 9 and the 22b feels quiker,I used to buy cosworths for a livin,back in the day ,they were the best but Im only going to look at it ,its not going any were I cant reg it for another year have you got a 500 if so what colour is it and how many miles has it got on

Just sold it but it was a very nice car, no 337 black ( the best colour for them ) 22k miles from new, bought it from a museum and brought it up to concours spec. valued at 26k,
