i've just sold my civic type r about a month ago and bought a 2002 sti, the civic was good but nothing up to the impreza.
my advice would be get it sold you wont look back.

WRX is a great choice, even tho' I've had my 02 Sti from new, ex-member of the STI is better club.... Sorry but the brakes are in a different league.

Agree that it's close on acceleration, but if you can stand the Sti's harsher ride, there is a handling advantage to a "sticky" front diff !
