Colin mcrae - Helicoptor Crash

Bad news. Although it hasn't been confirmed, I'm sure it would have been announced sooner if he wasn't on board. Real shame.
I was just reading an interview with him in a new USA mag called 0-60 and he took the journo out in the helicopter doing all sorts of stunts.

I am not wishing to take things off-topic, however, if this idiot (alciX) keeps posting offensive things, a) ignore the posts, mainly because, b) anyone with the ability to do so, please use the ban option to remove the posts and user from the forum. Such comments and users are not welcome.

I may not have been a follower of Subaru before the Burns/Mcrae stand off a few years back.
To be honest, it was 1 simple showing on (I believe )Eurosport that kind of got me interested.
I viewed it at silly 'O' clock but I saw how competetive the two of them were and I was hooked! They loved each other and hated each other in the same breath - amazing!!
The enthusiasm they showed, the love for the sport and the love of the career they had - what can I say?!!
When Richrd died I struggled with it (and still get quite upset thinking about it) - hoping he would be here to give a good battle once again!
And then Colin.
Both Colin and Richard loved what they did. No arguments. No rows. Much!
I can't put into words how I feel.
Suffice to say, the guys that really stirred my interest in the beautiful burble and amazing driving have gone - still gonna keep it with me though!
Respect for what you have shown the rally world guys.

Like so many here, my passion for Subaru and memories of cheering on Colin in the november forests of Britain are one...Losing Colin so soon after Richard is hard to take...God has one helluva driver line up now.

I know this is probably the same for the majority here, but Colin was the reason I got interested in Subarus and ultimately buying one.
Really gutted.
Thoughts with family.

Guttered, all our thoughts go out to all concerned. Just off to wee bonny scotland for a weeks holiday in a few hours and has kinda put a dampner on it. R.I.P big fella and give our regards to Burnsey.

This reminds me of Senna's death. You have never met these guys, but they are such a part of your life through you following a sport you and they love that when they are suddenly taken from us you realise just what they meant to you.
RIP Colin. You will be missed by many.

Just caught this on the late news, so sad and tragic that father and son (if confirmed) perish together.
Such a terrible blow to his wife and daughter, my heart goes out to them.
Also not forgetting the others who have lost their lives in this.
Yet another sad loss to the rally community
RIP all.

A very sad day, regardless if Colin was onboard or not, as people have been killed.
My thoughts are with all families involved.
I don't know if there is a god, but if there is,
Then I think he's got both Colin and Richard blasting round His own Special Stage.
Two true greats lost
Rest In Peace
