In response to the original question I'd suggest the following:
When looking for your next house, try to find one where there is an Evo nearby. Cats are not stupid, they know quality and they will always sit on the Evo.

Holding my breath and hoping no-one will be upset by this, but I've had same prob with cats- sitting, and sh*tting!
Have never been able to catch one of the buggers to soak it, and object strongly when they laugh at me as they escape!!
As far as the sh*tting goes, it seems that the only way to stop 'em doing it in your garden is to get one of your own--preferably a vey "hard" one that'll kick the other's butts if they try

Our neighbours have got a new cat, so far it has offended me by
1/ Mooching into our house
2/ Scoffing the dogs dinner
3/ Half killing a Wood Pigeon in our garden, then mutilating it (mucho plumage), I then had to finish it off with a shovel, however the cat was too quick, *******
4/ Tap dancing on my cars
5/ Making god awful noises every night at other cats and foxes
6/ Sh1tting everywhere
7/ Ripping bin bags open and scattering contents, have seen it do it, bold as brass whilst I stood there
I am well p1ssed of with it and am also thinking of ways of doing away with it, I wouldnt but it makes me feel better !
I am going to get my aged spaniel and dump it on the roof of her Rav 4 and see how she likes it. Why should I put up with somebody elses animal ?
I got it with the hosepipe which my neighbour saw and she found it funny, in fact she said how much she had enjoyed me getting her ***** wet, she went well red after she said it and dissapeared inside, oooo mrs Slocombe etc etc.

Mustard on their ar$ses
Spoon or finger the preferred method of appilcation?
No on second thoughts don't answer that
Pepper works as well and you do not have to touch the cats ar$e, unless you really want to

Here's a true story.A mate of mine looked out of his kitchen window to see the cat from across the road sat on his bonnet. He crept around the side of the house and threw a cup of water at the cat which took off down the drive. Next thing he knew the cat ran straight in front of a passing car and bounced off the bumper. It then ran into a nearby garden.
My mate and the car driver found it hiding under a bush so they picked it up and took it back to its owner who took it to the vets.It turned out to have a broken pelvis but made a full recovery.
The funny thing was a couple of days later the cat owner gave my mate a box of chocolates and a thank you card
I'm sure there's a morale in there somewhere but I can't think what it is
Anyway chill out guys

The electronic, high pitched widget that I bought works a treat, but it costs Ł50.
Also, cover your earth in Cocoa shells - this pleases the women because it smells like chocolate but the cats hate it, good for the garden too and looks nice.

This is the best thread ever.
I used to have a cat that slept in my Westfield that belonged to the family across the road.
One night I came in from the pub drunkish I took the cat indoors and showed it to my two gundogs. They threatened to rip it to pieces. Naturally the cat was scared - I let it go unharmed back out the front where the dogs couldn't get to it.
Never saw it again.
Law of the jungle.

When i was 16, i caught someone booting my cat off his lawn, full on, with a heavy boot. One broken knuckle, a GBH charge (dropped) and a Persil Wash later, i felt satisfied. Bring it on.

IMHO and without predudice
I am a Scooby and (three) cat owner.
Firstly - If you shoot or injure the cat(s) i will hunt you down and do the same you. Get a f**king life!
Seroiusly though, if you have problems with your neighbours the be big & brave enough to take it up with them and not take it out on their pets!
Couple of things to try
Most garden centres sell pellets (called get off! or such) which contain citrus, these last for around 6-8 weeks, put them around/under the car. they are colourless so do not look odd or like some sad ritual gone wrong.
A bucket of cold water chucked over the offending moggie will work as well.
Humbug
you sound like a sad cowardly man to me. Instead of picking on animals please feel free to get in contact with me so we can arrange to meet up and i'll teach you a thing or two you will not forget, oh bring you air rifle and corks soaked in Tuna oil
Does hurting animals that turn you on?

Cowards and sicko’s hurt animals
Do not hide behind solicitors or the Police when you post stuff like this
Quote from Humbug
I hate cats - cold, disloyal, and foul my lawn, it stinks.

Whilst I do not advocate violence as a rule I have no problem with bullies or sicko’s being taught a lesson.
Which are you then?
