I have a BTCC kit from 92 ish that my dad bought me for Xmas as a joke back then.
It has the BMW and Mondeo - I need to get it out the loft now I have a son (6 months old but he'll like it)

as I said before my set is all in boxes but since reading this thread I have spent the last 2 days trawling through the slot car section on fleebay and added these to my collection, will need to chip them as they are not digi cars

They are very nice. Waiting for the presentation set of these to come up at a decent price online.
these are very cool. Mrs fancies a pink one
They are a bit like proper 911 in that the motor is behind the rear axle and they are a bugger to drive out the box

Two articles of interest on that page will be Fly Fight which is good for simple Fly tuning and 3rd down is weight distribution which details Fly 911s.
I'm running without magnets so this is useful for moi. I've painted my track with masonary paint which gives ok grip.

I have over 100ft of track and loads of buildings! Best bit is that it was a pressie for my 13th birthday & my parents were skint and couldn't afford a new set so bought me a second hand one.
This means I have an early 1960's set with almost all of the original boxes! I have grandstands, Le Mans start, tool shed (including a teeny tiny tool kit), lap counter, race standings list - the lot!
Doesn't come out as often as it should - but I'm starting to get the urge.....
