The tyres are a bit on the skinny side like u say, 23mm on mine but i do run them at just a tad over 100 Psi so u can happily spin along at 20-25 Mph without too much effort . Went out today and did just over 35 Miles in 1 Hour 45 minutes or so, not been doing much so it was a bit on the tough side, roll on spring i say

LOL u must of been going some then Tiny Road bike gearing is a lot taller, to help with the increased speed and less rolling resistance, whereas the biggest gear on your mountain bike will be summin like 42 teeth on the front ring and 12 or 13 on back, my Colnago has 53 front and 11 rear on a 10 speed cassette, which means to max out that you'd need to be going 45-50 Mph

Do you keep all your bikes indoors ?
Mine is currently, but Mrs ESC Is threatning to pop the tyres again if it's not moved out into the shed

I was looking at getting one of these to keep the bikes in, but they are about £400 in the sale (normally £500 ) Quite expensive I think.
Bicycle Storage: Secure Bike Sheds: Trimetals
Most other sheds are either just too small or huge, this is the ideal size.
Anyone else suggest anything? My bikes are living in one of the spare bedrooms at the moment and they really are in the way, so the Mrs says anyway!

Looks to be a decent Spec and Price Stu. The Marzocchi forks have preload and rebound adjustment, which is good to have as the weight of the rider can alter the working of the fork.
And it's also got Hydraulic Discs. One thing to look out for with them is when you remove the wheels for transporting be carefull u dont squeeze the brake lever or leave it in a position where it can be pushed as the Caliper closes up and don't go back. You have to remove the pads and try to push the piston back, which is quite a job given the amount of room u have to work with (The girlfriends bike has the same brakes and i've had to do it more than once)

Marins Rock!
I've had 3 over the last few years; Muirwoods, Bear Valley and a Pine Mountain.. I've still got the P.M but its reserved for road use only as its a bit of a classic these days
Awesome bikes, strong as hell! Only ever managed to damage the frame on the Muirwoods but the other survived un-scathed!

I hope I can squeeze in a proper test ride and do a deal this weekend, but if time is against me I have pre-booked a test ride next saturday aswell. I want to have a proper go on the 17" but defo going for the Nail Trail. I can't wait !!! What wax shall I use on the frame then
Tiny did you register your bike online ? apparently its lifetime guarantee on the frame if you do.
I also just realised that I need something other than Jeans and a Donkey jacket in my wardrobe

Stu
I use my Swissvax on all my bikes just like i do the car
Tiny
Nice ride M8, when u feel comfortable with the route your doin add another bit on to it, then again do the same thing, best way to build up is to gradually add distance to what your feeling happy with
