Quite a few 90's and 90's throwbacks there
Continuing with the chart dross-pop theme....
Lets go back to 1995: Julian Cope - World Shut Your Mouth: YouTube - Julian Cope - World Shut Your Mouth
Desireless - Voyage Voyage (1988 IIRC) Even if it was French; nothing sounded like it back then.
Adamski - Killer (heard the original chart version just yesturday - much more hardcore than the later Seal version)
Although not one hit wonders: A couple of Sisters of Mercy tracks (Corrosion, Temple of love etc....this might give a clue to my profle location )
Fairground Attraction - Perfect (ok, it annoys me now as I keep hearing it)
For some reason I remember this: Spagna - call me
Someone mentioned "Zoe", which reminded me of something which sounded like the same singer being "Scarlet Fantastic - No memory"
And I can't belive nobody has menetion 99 Red balloons yet

Depends on which country, as it was re-released a few times. So please don't make me dig out my tapes, Si. I'll compromise at 1986
Moving on: EMF - Unbelievable
and some yokels:
Wonderstuff - Size of a cow (ignoring the Dizzy cover- god bless Martin Gilks )

Wonderstuff, one hit wonders, really? 4 albums a number of top singles (incl an album of singles) says otherwise.
1. Welcome To The Cheap Seats
2. Wish Away
3. Caught In My Shadow
4. Don't Let Me Down Gently
5. Size Of A Cow
6. Hot Love Now
7. Dizzy
8. Unbearable
9. Circlesquare
10. Who Wants To Be The Disco King
11. Golden Green
12. Give Give Give Me More More More
13. Coz I Luv You
14. Sleep Alone
15. Full Of Life (Happy Now)
16. It's Yer Money I'm After Baby
17. On The Ropes
18. It's Not True
So that'll be 18 singles then, not bad going for a one hit wonder

not for a moment!
One just sprang to mind that used to have the 12" of. Something like The House that Jack Built. Quite dancey, which is v. unusual for me
I think this is it, but can't listen on this pc
