Hey Tam

Only just catching up (again!) - am so glad to hear it's not Cancer...

At least with this rare condition they can do something to help you - alot of these things they still can't do anything - yes it means having procedures every year, but look on the bright side - at least you get to eye up all the pretty nurses on an annual basis!! .

Hope your thing in Jan goes well ..xx

Sorry I don't play golf, but after watching Happy Gilmore last night I might take it up.

I'm on my 5th lot of antibiotics, and I think this morning the swelling has gone down slightly.

Its a good thing you went for the check Tam and that they have located the problem. Best thing is to stay positive about it anyway of course.

I have got to go for the nose camera job myself in January and I am not looking forward to it. I have had a brush with the big C so it is always a bit of a worry. Keep getting a "frog in the throat" for some reason.

All the best to you anyway and try not to worry as everyone has said.

Thanx Les, trying to keep positive about it.

Hope all goes well for you in January, the camera isn't really that bad, just uncomfortable but it only takes a few mins.

Colin hope the antibiotics do the job, you don't want to be walking as if you have a crystal ball

Get lots of icecream in - its all you'll want for a few days - a little at a time to sooth things. But I bet the doctor will tell you to eat toast! Really!!

Anyway, don't fret laddie - easier said than done I know, but you sound [excuse the pun] as though you are in good hands.

And can we have a piccie of what he removes!

All that ice cream will get me fat you know I'm not fretting too much, I do like the anaesthetic What is that dose of stuff they give you which makes you smile from ear to ear just before they knock you out, it's great

I'll not be able to get any pics of what they remove as apparently the tool he is using is like a tiny mincer on a stick Although he does have pics of what it looked like in situ on the first op, I'll ask him for a copy although it does look mingin :Puke:

Cheers

Good news Tam-just shows how important it is to get it checked early. Hope all the treatment is not unpleasant and that you will keep us informed.

Well I got a sexy nurse looking after me Blonde, pretty, nice figure, great ***, smallish **** though. All the staff were brilliant today as usual

Op went well although my throat is agony Afterwords my anaesthetist was concerned as my heart was beating irregularly during surgery and advised me to go to the Docs to have it checked, I'm not too worried about it as I've always known it's goes funny sometimes, anytime I've been checked in the past all has shown to be normal (it only happens occasionally) but my Doctor will get something in writing now and hopefully sort it.

That's good news Tam

If it's any consolation my Dad has an irregular heartbeat and is still going strong at 68 (and driving an STi ). He had it stopped and re-started (his heart not the Scoob ) a while ago to put it back in rhythm but it's gone out again now. It doesn't really bother him except when he can hear it which he says sounds a bit weird

Great News Tam, glad everything went OK mate, Finally got to the bottom of my infection we think, I still slightly get some pain but it's where the infection was so bad it has damaged the nerve endings in my ********* and could take up to 4 months to heal and if that does not work I could lose the ********
Cheers
Colin
