Does anyone have just the Blitz nur spec backbox fitted?

Is the backbox loud on its own without the centre section?

If fitting just the back box you need a different Blitz as the NuR Spec R has 3 inch pipe work, if I remember right it's the NuR Spec S...

love the sound of my Group N (sound clip in profile), nowt wrong with it mated up with a de-res centre section, that certainly makes a difference....but if youve already seen / heard one in the flesh, then I'll shut up.

I have a SW Ninja full 2.5" system incl 3" D/pipe and its very loud; but sounds class, just like a Scooby should. Thats said, I havent really heard anything else to compare it with.

firestorm all the way. Fantastic exhaust - had one on 2 p1s and now my type R. Its really loud - louder than a friend Blitz and deeper than a guys afterburner at work and you can hear it for miles. Great quality as well and looks fantastic.

the only exhaust I have ever heard thats louder or deeper in the RCM Ice system on a 2007 protype Scooby and that was indecent. Or TVRs.

The quality of the Jap made systems is fantastic, miles batter than that of the english ones!!! The welding on the Blitz, 5Zigen and HKS is in another league.

If you want to make your ear bleed, 5Zigen is the way to go, I have a 308 border and it's miles louder than the blitz, firestorm, Vortex. The only one louder I've ever heard is the BMP twister.

My car isn't a daily drive but if it was I'd be looking at the HKS system

Why not wait a little for the Scoobyworld 2006 3" Afterburner. Will be one of the first and it will be pretty special. Much deeper note i found going from 2.5" to 3".

If can't wait, then the AB is a good choice. I can also hear the AB bugeye that passes my house over other scoobs. Nice rumble. But not quite the noise of my custom Meercat.
