had something just this morning

was just paying for petrol in shell garage. dude behind me who had turned up in a blacked out old corsa with 16 mates in the back asked...
"what powers it running"
me... "about 230-235 with the full decat"
him... "bet you'd get more if i gave you the number for my mates garage. cars awfully loud"
me... "as long as its not the same garage who have tried to fit your front bumper - stevie wonder motors?"

then that bloody cashier bird mentioned something about her ***** again.

couldnt make it up...

Oh well....
on mine the scoop seems to be for feeding birds to the big bear under the bonnet. it;s pretty maintenance free thought as the birds just make their own way in there without having to be herded, which is nice

When my firebird was red, at a petrol station some guy calls to his little boy "look <kid's name> a Ferrari"

some of these stupid comments you get probably arent half as annoying as what i get being only 18 with an impreza turbo, i get the odd idiot asking me how much i paid for it an how much i pay for insurance. might just be me but would you normally ask someones financial situations when you first meet them?

although i do get silly questions aswel, like last week at shell , "thats well nice mate, what is it", so i say its an impreza turbo all wheel drive, he then says "oh rite, so is it front wheel drive?"...........

Oh another gem today.

‘Why do you need a picnic table on the back?’

To which I replied that “My dad is diabetic and this way we can prepare and eat food quickly”

Last week I had someone random in the street say it looked like……. “A rat with a gold tooth” nice.

'Why has it got pink badges? It's a bit gay isn't it?'

Couldn't believe this from a guy at work.

dont worry about it. plenty of people know i havent had my licence 2 years and are always asking how i got my insurance so cheap for a then 22 year old. financial situation its not. you could be a millionaire and pay the same insurance, or a dole dosser, and struggle to keep up payments. tht doesnt matter, generally its peoples curiosity on how maybe one so young (looking) affords it.

as you say, i dare say youve made a couple sacrifices, like me to afford to insure, run etc.

*oh regards baps... dont think she would appreciate that. but if anyones that perved over it,

I've had the local shell cashier ask me

her "Is there something wrong with your exhaust? its making a funny noise."

me "no its meant to sound like that, its the design of the thing."

her "Really sounds like theres something wrong with it, what car is that anyway?"

me "Its a Subaru Forester"

her "Never heard of one of them, who makes that then?"

me

I think people attempting to be funny about the spoilers is a given.

The best one this year was at the Norfolk Police Gala day where we had a Scoobycity stand - I was tarting up the engine as a couple of blokes walked past..

"I don't get those scoops, its got to slow them down.. you'd think they'd put it on the other way.. but then I suppose they're not bothered about going quick"

You'd have thought the big silver radiator-looking thing that sat under the scoop that they could see on mine would have been a bit of a give away.

Retards, step AWAY from the cars.

I think claiming to make the car might be a little too much

Oh well....
Gave a lass at work a lift last week. She said "Very posh" (One thing a bug isn't ), then said, "Oh, and it 's got lots of extras, like that scoop thing over the hole" .
Did she think the std car would have a bare hole in the bonnet ?!
