ohh and i have a copy of the "unseen footage" from judgement day when they had planned to make a video to sell

on VCR somewhere at my parents house, my mate had a copy from his "contacts" and refused to give us a copy over the space of about 10 years, saying he would get a kicking if he let us copy it

we got him wasted and i think my mate copied 3 doors down at somebody else's house.

apparently they couldn't make the video in the end because all the footage was of people off there **** and nothing was clean enough

its got rotterdam terror corps on it, IIRC the 2 dancing bints were dressed as rubber clad nuns, ended up whipping there clothes off and things got to steamy so they were dragged off the stage PMSL

As the phrase go 'Hardcore will never die' although the new stuff is just **** it doesn't seem to have the anthems of yesteryear.
The Bonkers CDs have deteriated into just a noise imo and they have to remix old tunes into the new hardcore.

United States of Hardcore is the main website for happy hardcore events.

Sorry I'm probably being a tad unfair, I knew one of the fairy's who danced for them, ever since I ended up hating them....

My younger cousin has got into hardcore and dragged me along to Vibealite at Mission a while ago, but to be honest it did my head in ! I don't mind psy-trance and stuff like that but hardcore wasn't really for me. I did pull an top flight bird in some green hotpants though, so it wasn't a total disaster !

Gotta love happy hardcore, the music has done one big circle and now they call it hard house or summit, not as good as the classic stuff.
Remember going to Vibealite a few times.
Blast from the past, few names that ring a bell
Mc Majika, Mc Robbie D, LTJ Bookham, Donovan Badboy Smith, Stu Alan, Slipmat, Carl ***.
Also remember listening to Thunderdome megamix, proper hardcore techno

Damn right! It was an old Vibes and Livelee tape from Club Kinetic in 1996 that got me into happy hardcore, still properly addicted to the stuff now!

I was a dj from 92 to 98 and well into the HH scene towards the end - used to go to Kinetic in Stoke on Friday nights, superb nights

Still listen to it every day aged 33/34 via HappyHardcore.com - The most popular hardcore dance music site in the world whilst working, and had Bonkers 15 on in the Pug going to the Chatsworth rally show on Sunday.

I love it, and the current crop of HH is much more mature than the original sampler days.

My faves to this day:
Paul Elstak - Pump this party
DJ NS & Mystery - (Forgot the name of the track - piano tune)
Force & Styles - Fireworks

etc etc

astraboy.

Didnt exactly narrow it down... hundreds of loons wearing workmen vests

Anyway-I really enjoyed doing the main arena last nite- especially the last couple of sets. Instrumental of pretty green eyes ready to go for Junior to do the vocal over it as one last track, but the door gorillas were being scarey about the time....couldnt do it. Hence the little acapella/beatbox thing right at the end.

Love it now and again. Went to see Ultrasonic in 1996 in preston (cant remember the club name) and they so loud my ear rang for 5 days after!

Great for listening to if I have a deadline to meet, makes me work faster
