Last year,we met up for the run to the BBO at lunchtime meadowhall retail park,

1 m1 slip road, young female drive locked up brakes paying no attention to red lights after i had stopped

2 set off on amber/green light, young female driver came straight through red light and nearly t-boned myself

3 tinsley via-duct,young female swap's lane without even checking her mirror and nearly wipes out an old dear in her metro

4 another brake lock at turn for car park area, yep you guessed it young female

these were all in the space of about 1/2 mile, nearly hit 4 times by young female's on there way to the mid season sales on a saturday morning

lack of attention and too much mobile/vanity mirror/i-pod fiddling going on i feel

aye, well it wasnt too bad today actually. more rep mobiles than anything else. all the stoopid cows in the shopping centre already, walking round bumping into peoples.

something funny did happen though, one teen lass being rather vain muttering to herself on phone in primark, while talking to mates around her, and doing her makeup- talk about multi-tasking. anywho disabled young lad got the wrath of her mouth as his wheelchair car thingy (you know what i mean) was slightly in her way when she wasnt looking. "******* retard" she said to him audiably. was myself just in front of disabled lad, and popped my left foot out as she walked past. THUMP on the floor makeup everywhere.

natually i was the gentleman in helping her pick her crap up. seems she was on rag week too, looking at the contnets of her handbag. mates all wondered off, not a clue to as what happened. the disabled lad knew though, muttered thanks

kinda made my morning

What's worse than a young women driver in a car?

A young women driver in a fast car. (or at least one they think is fast)

I might be chatting rubbish but it seems to me that women who drive cars that they would call 'nippy' ie 1.6 shopping cart, think they can outgun anything and everything. I find it's usually young women who impede your progress on the motorway and rather than pulling over to the car free lane to left put their foot down.

Very annoying

I tend to muck people about nowadays who drive in this manner, take the hill for example.

The ones who sit in the fast lane a good mile back trying to overtake you, i like to see how long they are willing to sit out before they give up either by gradually slowing or accelerating.

Or tailgaters, i just nicely slow for them, makes them nice and irate.

However with the scoob i get this treatment myself even though im driving sensibly, meh go figure.

Nice one cob, makes me laugh when some women think they can do/say whatever they fancy with no repercussions, top job.

It does seem to be a trend though, very rarely now am I cursing at young lads in cars but the young lasses doing more or less what people have described.

Embarrassingly enough it is the majority of them who are blonde too!

I think I am going to have to shave my hair and go in disguise!

At least though with a WRX we stand a chance of getting out of a situation by booting it, but when you have a chick in a car sitting blocking traffic whilst not concentrating on the road you stand naff all chance and the only option is to just drop back or find an alternate route.

I believe congestion would be cut in half if lane discipline and the ability to drive at the speed limit (conditions / roads allowing) were enforced as much as speeding, the scammers would take more money whilst claiming that banning these morons saves the planet in some way...

These idiots never check their mirrors, they haven’t a clue what going on behind them or more than 10 feet in front of them, this is ridiculous, and these people must be taken off the road!!.

FINE / ADD POINTS TO MIDDLE LANE DRIVERS / DRIVERS WHO DONT KNOW THAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO KEEP TO THE LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING AND OUR ROADS WILL BE A SAFER PLACE

im going to risk it a flaming for this now, but on the way back from meadowhall yesterday, was on the m18 northbound just after it joins with the m1 j32 if you can picture it. 3 lanes, virtually empty. i was sat doing 80ish (kph officer ) in the slow lane, correct discipline i thought. approaching a truck (7.5tonner so not restricted to 56 i think) sat in the middle lane. he damn well knew i was approaching, refused to move into the slow lane, so i dropped it a cog, booted it, undertook him to a safe ditance in front. mrs asking what im doing etc etc. wasnt anything dangerous, just illegal lol. anyways a fair distance in front, in the middle lane like this tosser still is, i slow down to approx 60, and the truck gains on me. flashing pertusely, ****** signs the full showaddywaddy. so heres me empty motorway sat at 60, 7.5tonner up my **** beeping the lot, refusing to go into the slow lane. after a little banter via the rear view, i accelerated gently to about 80 again, hoping he got the point.

flame suit on.

No flames required but....

There are unhinged people around, whether they'd angry to start with, emotionally unstable or actually mad as a hatter for whatever reason.

If something had kicked off, a 7.5 tonner is going to make 1.25 tonnes of Classic look more than a little bent and battered.

see your point, but the 7.5tonner was never that close to me, apart from when i undertook him.

i wouldnt have taken any silly risks with my fiance in the car. just wound me up something cronic, so i kinda reacted in the best way i could think off without the road rage thing. driver looked 50s 60s from my rear view mirror.
