Interesting... Was reading some comments on another site that the girl in the 106 was a member off.. Some of them were making comments about the Evo being driven too hard... Bloody hell its a f**king RACE TRACK! lol!

There's a lot of guff being spouted about speed differential, but in reality it looks to me that Mr Norris was pushing hard for a place, he made a mistake in taking too much grass in the cornera and understeered to the outside of the corner and collected the pug. Avoidable? Probably. Racing incident? Definately. Lucky for all involved? Absolutely.
Rubbing's racing.

I was sorry to see that the car was so badly damaged, I hate seeing machinery getting mashed up.
Looks like he was unable to get on the right line for the second apex which is the important one to get right on that corner.
Glad to hear that he was not hurt anyway.

Everyone survived without any injuries, Rallycol is being honest (if a little insensitive) in saying we like to see a crash, as long as no one is hurt, come on admit it, however it is tempered with sympathy to the owners for the damage to the cars.
It looks cut a dried, a racing accident, it happens, the guy got carried away and ran out of talent, no matter who you are, it happens.
I would hope that the Evo drive perhaps assists the Peugeot driver in repairing her car as a gesture, seeing as she was in no way to blame (apart from being there on the circuit in the first place).

Some people on here are too trigger happy, OK there have been a couple and i'd say only a couple of comments that were borderline.
Rallycols infraction was totally not justified.
It was a racing incident which looked worse than it was - Luckily and thankfully everyone walked away, i'm sure the comments would not have been made if anyone had been injured or hurt in any way.
So come one lets just all sit back and chill a little eh?

Must have been the weekend for it- we had more 'incidents' than usual at Aintree yesterday.
Pleased all involved are ok, and lays testament to the value of properly installed safety equipment...

Ouch!!
That was an awful accident . the incar footage is amazing and its got to be said a testament to the car builders that the driver got out so quickly and in one piece.
That guy was very very lucky.. the car is absolutely funked!!
Just a very simple reminder of how quicky it gets very very wrong when you have a combination of big power and mega sticky tyres in track.
Good to see the driver got out okay.

I feel sorry for the 106 driver, did nothing wrong and Norris was more concerned with staying right on the bums of the cars in front IMO and not enough on the 'what if' factor with the 106 and coming out of that turn. Yes it is a race track but to me it seems like a real brainfart moment being perfectly honest. I agree that rallycol's infraction was unjustified and no doubt someone will decide to give me one for speaking my mind in a nice sensible manner
.
