How long warming up

Also if i have been for a short drive and not been on boost, and the engine temp is still at normal running temp or lower, i dont leave it to idle, just switch off and get out.

I think sometimes it's all a bit ****.

It aint as black and white as 'don't go over 3000rpm until oil warm' or ' keep it off boost for 10 mins driving'.

It will vary with the weather etc.

Just drive carefully without tonking it for a little while.

The only thing i do agree with is the cooling down part but again does anyone REALLY know how long this needs to be for ?

I read a statement fom subaru stating that there is no need to allow the turbo to cool down if that was the case they would come with built in timers.
