If you are struggling to get there, let me know. I won't be passing Benfleet, but don't mind taking the scenic route in the car Let me know either way.

Default Update ...

Guys i spoke to Matt yesterday

South Essex has double booked us ( Unable to play there now )

But they have got us a similar deal @ another one of there courses ( Crown Golf ) We are now playing @ ORPINGTON GC

Same times etc .. Meet for Brekkie @ 9am , T off @ 10am , 2 Course lunch / Banter afterwards

Longest drive & Nearest the pin as well

Think we are now all going to meet @ THURROCK SERVICES @ 8-30AM

Sure matt will fill in the details 100% when he gets back on line

Tiny ..

Exclamation Slight Change of Plan.

Heard from MNeame earlier, there has been a problem with South Essex booking our slot!
So Matt has had to change the course to another Crown course - The Golf Centre, in Orpington! This looks like a great course see below.

Orpington Golf Centre| Welcome

Still need to be there for 9.00am latest, first tee time 9.45
Cost is slightly cheaper at £35.

Directions

This is a bit further away, approx 11 miles south of the Dartford Crossing, so please allow plenty of time for travel. I will be leaving Hockley 7.30-45.

Orpington Golf Centre| Welcome

for sat nav = BR5 3HY

See you guys there on Sat

I was a member at South Essex for a few years and fancied my chances with the local knowledge. I have never played at Orpington, but drove past it everyday for 6 months when i was working in Chelsfield. Wish I had popped in for a round now

See you at Lakeside on Saturday, will have Spally with me.

Might treat myself and playing partner to a GPS buggy!!
Used these in Spain, park next your ball and it tells you how far to the green........the ones at PGA Catalunya even tell you what club they think you should hit, mind you I think they base their hitting on Tiger Woods yardage.187 meters (196 yards) to the pin = 7 Iron
