Can one of you big spenders use the Search and pull up just a few of the vacuum cleaner threads from the last 12 months?
I asked about one for parquet floors, eventually got a Nilfisk Coupe Parquet. Seems OK. Wondered about a Philips bagless with fancy polishing head but finally decided against it.
I did a quick google on Dyson, I think it was a Which? report which said there had been a lot of reliability problems for a number of years but the latest batch seem to be better. Don't know why, new factory maybe.

If people used a) search and b) Google, there would be nothing to discuss on the BBS

Thanks for the suggestions peeps. I've gone and bought a Miele Solution HEPA 5280 Vacuum Cleaner. Nice and lightweight and it'll make a lovely, romantic surprise gift for MrsREV!

Miele and Sebo are for the Subaru owning **** class.
Have you seen the cost of miele bags? And what is a Electrolux 620 with a electronic actuator rebranded as a Sebo?
