Possible legal matter

He bought his 1st property for £50k and sold it at a loss?
The £25k never exists then surely? If he sold it for £45k say, you've lost £2500 straight away You expect his equity now, but not his loss at the time?
I agree this is a friday afternoon windup. Well done (Where's PSL by the way )

You have to see if from my viewpoint, if my son had not sold his first house, I would have been legally entitled to 50% of whatever that is worth now and it is a lot more than the original 25k. And there was nothing he could do about it as he had signed the legally binding agreement.
I don't care whether you think it is morally wrong, I am just interested in where I stand under the laws of this country with regard to what is MY investment and how I go about getting it back!

This is not a wind up and I would like to read the views of pslewis if he knows where I stand legally.

I thought this sounded like PSL from the begining as well.
Just for the entertainment value though, I'll go along with it for now..
So Charliethedog, how much was the first house sold for? You say it was at a loss, so I hope you are not expecting your original 25k back.

sold for 45k BUT I thought that the agreement carried over to the new house and I did not need the money at that time. I have now found out that this agreement only applied to the house that was sold.
So 22.5k I would have got from the sale.
So is that all I can ask for or has my son got all the money legally in his house now?

In the early '90s Next shares fell to 7p each. I wished I had bought a 1,000 as four years later they were trading for £7.90.
Does anyone know where I stand legally?
Can I sue the LSE for trading Next shares at 7p and allowing them to increase in value and make a market for them at £7.90p
