I fitted the twin plate today, had a bit of fun aligning the two clutch plate splines and centering them as could not mangage to get hold of a main shaft from an old gearbox so had to do it by eye, also did not realise just how heavy the bloody 6 speed boxes are!

The plates certainly rattle around if you sit there with your foot on the clutch and initaly it was very quick to bite/a bit juddery on take up but that is wearing off the more use the clutch gets. The pedal is not bad at all, its certainly stiffer but still easy enough for general road driving.

Just waiting for the Mrs to drive it now to see what she makes of it (I am sure I will get some comments about the rattles).
