The DTI did have an Aero screen!

Thanks for the notification of the sale BTW... I'm really needing to look at a newer way to get two seats and keep the T20... possibly even waiting another 12 months to see what happens...

Club run to Stelvio - ah, you didn't mention that earlier...

On the mpg front, I wonder if billythekid's run might have been a certain amount on motorways which is not a caterfield's favourite location, not least due to aerodynamics. If your daily 10mile jaunt is on A-roads in traffic at 30-40mph, I imagine the consumption would be a bit better as the engine isn't fighting the dynamics so much. That's for you to consider...

Also, stick some good tyres on (A048s for example) for a bit more traction and less understeer.
Aeroscreens are great, but you must wear goggles/glasses, also save on weight from glass screen/wipers/demisters, just really have to make sure those A048s are warmed up, even for road use, otherwise very scary with power~+ no weight!

PS: Bike engine + caterfield all the way. (from past experience, and hoping to get another in the near future when this house extension is complete!

proby - would my comment about Bike Engine cars being too compromised for frequent use (difficult to use in stop start / commuting traffic and reverse) be valid? Or are they are easy to use as a car engined version?

Brendan - Point taken
