Thats a bit of a myth - based on cinema deing 24fps - In reality the human eye can detect 60fps and beyond.

completely agree with Pete on that

huge difference between 24 Hz and 50Hz, although I can see where Edd's coming from as Crysis is playable at that slower fps - I just WISH it was running at 50 or 60Hz!! ;-)

Yes mate. Was starting to think I was alone on here. Purely by chance though. Not been playing games much then mate found a copy he bought (doesnt even have a pc now) so I installed it about 3 months ago. At first thought it was ok but then got utterly hooked. Have done about 130hrs in the last 2 months and am up to Captain Gold.

Not sure how much I will play once I get to Brig General. Try to get the medals etc but just love playing Conquest on Camp G all the time with Assault kit unless someone starts using a walker then I love the engineer with pilum and motion mines

Ingame name is P1Fanatic also so add me to your buddy list.

Yep and its amazing how many people still quote that crap. Just play any game at 25 fps then 60 and tell me it dont make a diff. Im playing BF2142 and when I first started my PC was running at around 40fps but dropping to 20 when the action kicked in. When I sorted some probs out it now runs at 100fps dipping to about 40fps and its like a different game now.

Well thats me told!

Crysis feels playable to me mid 20s so I'm happy and I'm using the VeryHigh detail mod for XP.

Haven't played 2142 - Really liking Team Fortress 2 though.

I havent unlocked the Lambert yet as went for the upgraded sniper side but then tried that and tbh prefer the standard sniper.

I have to admit Im a Voss ***** Although do like the SAW for taking out gunships on titan maps.

The Zeller sniper unlock is useless, 3 round clip and its no more accurate than the standard snipers, IMO - one to the head is all it takes ! I quite like the sniper decoy though, that confuses the hell out of people lol !
