Not sure about spending Money on a car that you have never driven before (although being an Impreza, AWD and all, it will probably be a good one) unless you are spending someone else's money that is! Hope to see you post a review on the car when it makes an appearance, STi looks a little bit better than the WRX from what I have seen on the Net but still not a looker. If it were my cash I would be tempted to get an EVO X, think that car looks the best and will be as quick as the STi, if not quicker. But each to their own, enjoy.....

Not according to the "leaked" spec sheet. It did seem all the STD good bits on UK was optional extras for the JDM but JDM STd good bits wern't available to the UK. except "alledged" UK cosmetic tweaks

But does suppose what "Final" Spec of the UK is and what your looking for so waiting to compare before commiting. anyway enjoy

I'll give you a shout when I'm Testing the JDM version

Yep this was mentioned in the press awhile ago andthere is an article comparing the new evo x with the new impreza in EVO magazine and its mentioned there too. The question is how long after the initial launch will it be before the faceliftd one comes out or will they wait for the new version before releasing in the UK? (which would seem sensible)

I own a classic and think the new Impreza looks gay because I can't afford a new car!

Oh... wait a minute, yes I can!!!

Good on you Pete! They look great and I'll be joining you on the order list soon!!! Well, the Euro order list at least

After a spell in the motor trade, the LAST thing I would do is be the first to buy a new model. Let some other mugs go through the pain of any launch problems and only buy when it has all settled down.

I wonder how long it will take until Subaru bring out a Saloon version!! I think Summer 2008 if no one buys the current hatchback !!!

And 5 door hatchbacks have never been cool. If they where serious about making a nice looking car out of the hatchback version they should have made it into a 3 door.
