I read about this interview in the sun, and on the net, and felt it was better than how they described. I reckon she put her point across quite well. I dont think anyone can comment, unles you've been in her situation, and had the press camped outside your house all day, for years.

Dont get me wrong, Im not fan of the woman, or of Paul Mcarthy, quite the reverse, but I feel sorry for her.

The press are her to sell papers, sex sells, and we as humans love reading about other peoples problems. How do we sort it ? I dont know, just glad Im not in her position.

As for divorce settlement, £50m ?? god, sleeping with that w$nker mccarthy, I reckon she deserves more.

It seems staggering to me that they can't just agree a settlement even if it way over the top in Heather's favour. The money can't mean anything to McCartney. I think he is a bit of a prat TBH and Heather always struck me as one of those determined, awkward types which appealed to McCartney for 10 mins before he came to his senses. I think she has had a rough deal from the press though.

I read a colleague's Daily Mail at work at the weekend - a paper I wouldn't buy in a million years I should hasten to add - and was amazed by how many references to and articles about Ms Mills there were. They're completely obsessed!

It's amazing how nasty they are too, constantly making snide comments about her disability, etc. I can't imagine them getting away with it in normal circumstances - imagine them taking the **** out of a paralympics athlete or something like that.

I have no real opinion about the McCartney/Mills case per se (couldn't care less frankly), but agree with her that the media are completely out of control, ditto the paparazzi situation. It's easy to say that people who are famous have to accept it, or actively court it, but put yourself in their shoes for a minute and I don't think you'd be so sure.

The worrying thing is that if a crack down does ever happen, free speech will doubtless suffer, rather than just curtailing all the libellous bollocks.

Don't know her, but she is reaping that which she sowed. She married Paul for fame and fortune, nothing else. If she has been through what she claims, why not walk away a long time ago and protect her child! She would still get a huge payout but would be out of the limelight and her "alleged" misery. She is in it because she craves it... horrible person, shallow and greedy

Paul must be wondering what he has done given his previously, long and happy relationship with Linda. He has been an old fool and is paying for following his lust over his heart, she, on the other hand, has no heart and will prostitute herself for money for as long as she lives.

She went into the relationship with very little and will leave with what £25m minimum, not bad for a few short years work However she will never be happy..... what a price to pay!

I've a soft spot for animals and the campaigning she does for fur stuff for e.g is brilliant - she actually shows videos of the skin being torn off live Alsatianss (by Chinese) to people that are wearing/selling fur. That's a passionate and commited very decent compassionate person in my book.

She is however totally unlikeable and McCartney still gets the best PR advice - stay schtum lassie!

I've just watched it and personally, I think she did rather well. If you consider all the dirt that has been dished out about her, as we know, muck sells these rags, she was ok
I'm not a fan of hers but am not really interested in reading garbage. At the end of the day, I doubt Paul is lily white in this divorce but I don't see that much crap being thrown at him

That's a pretty kind view mate. I too never read red tops or gossip mags - I just go on what I see. Yes she had a kid with him, but is that really worth £30m or something after a few years? Settlement should just be related to enough to cover the safety and happiness of the kid really (if it wants to be with its mad mum!). Ms Mills never wrote 'Hey Jude' or contributed anything to the wealth in any more than a biological one after all... Kid gets a fortune one day, but why on earth should she get one now? What a bloody whinger!

Fair comment, but we have no idea what sort of life she had with Paul, everyone just seems to be assuming all was rosy because of who he is. We will never know, but then again we should not presume

I still think she did a good interview and fair play to her, I would not like that crap to be said about me, especially where her child could see it, be it now or in the future. The press needs to be controlled on what they print.

Yes but she can now open her legs much much further than she used to for her Arab clients.
