its a shame they dont realise what theyre doing sometimes. i guess its natural to them to lick themselves better.

give kay the whole pack, a treat if you will. if you feel guilty buy weight watchers sweets

Hope alls going well its horrible when dogs get ill.
The only thing I would say is if it re-occurs don't let the vets mess her arround too much. I'm a vets son and my dad is of the older generation vets where they thought more about the animals suffering than their bank balance. Operations are getting ever more complex dogs and cats are being put through chemotherapy etc and people are paying huge amounts for it all and it rarely buys the animal more than a few months but puts them through hell in the mean time. I've even got a friend who had an 18 year old cat given chemotherapy!
The main point of the post is not to put a dampner on things but just to say bear in mind her best interests not necessarily what the vet is telling you, yours is a pretty young dog so hopefully will be fine but if not then you need to be pretty strong.

thanks for that my mum has said all along that if she gets worse then we have to think of her and not ourselves afterall we are supposed to love the daft animal at the end of the day and if we really did then we dont want her to suffer any longer. I just hope that she will be ok she seems to be getting used to the cuts on her side even lying on them which is pretty good but we have given her 1 human paracetamol lol

tam its ok hun i've been working and stuff so not really looked at my phone

I know a lot of dogs do have reactions to chocolate.

When our dog gets fussy taking tablets we normally put it in a slice of ham or inside a lump of chees,he loves it.

Is a bit messy though
