It's The SUN That Did It!!

I like most of the new STi ... but would not buy one because I can't get over the front looking like it was nicked straight off one of the new Vauxhall's ... which is just ugly. Compared to the Evo X or new Nissan GT-R, Subaru have just gotten it completely wrong again when it comes to styling! Oh well, maybe by the time the next model comes out they will have gotten rid of their blind design team.

Imprezas have never been pretty cars, in fact they have never been anything to look at at all!
The Classic was ugly, not as ugly as what came after it - granted - but pig ugly all the same.
But, the Classic was the one on the Rally programs, it was the car everyone wanted, it was the darling of the motoring world, it was the teenage boys dream, it was the ultimate ugly car which could beat anything else ..... so, we all loved it.
The Impreza is nothing special these days, I love the build quality and reliability, but it ain't no tarmac eater anymore - it isn't even in the fight in the Rallies.
I guess it's had it's day? This new hatchback is no worse than the others which went before it - it is trying to take on the big market players at their own game (the Focus looking car) and they will lose at it ....... IMHO
However, I like the white one sitting in my local dealers showroom - would I pay £20,000 for one? I don't think so ...... there are a lot of choices out there for my £20,000.
