£10 says Cowell had loads of race driving lessons when he new he was going to go on the track - the bloke has such a huge ego that its the sort of thing he'd do.
Did laugh when he was saying he was the same age as Clarkson and reckoned he looked really good - the blokes as orange as dale winton with tippexed teeth and what looks suspiciously like Tom Jones' chest wig on his head.

Sunday night TV rocks at the moment, two hours of quality TV with Top Gear followed by The Long Way Down
Top Gear is the only programme on TV that is guaranteed to make my mascara run every week as I cry with laughter

I have to say that i think Cowell has the right to be arrogant, if he was arrogant but rubbish i could understand people disliking him but unfortunately he does tend to be pretty successful at most things!
Great show again tonight!

Cowell may come accorss as a complete ****. But I can do nothing but admire the bloke; He has half the country like putty in his hands - just look at the figures for the number of people who PAID to vote for contestants in his shows (presuming the figures aren't as fudged - like the results ). Not to mention the droves of people who audition
I think I'd be an arrogant **** if I had that number of people bowing at my feet

its always entertaining viewing.
cowell is a tool, but very good at most things he does unforntunately. if there was one person i would love to spin out and get the worst time ever its him.
sadly he is blatantly good though.
i did laugh a lot at the stig in the public, the mobile phone and the escalator made me laugh .
the comment jc made about the stig probably being mistaken for a brazilian electrician in the strain station was a bit below the belt though.

Anyone else noticed that he's started to demonstrate, subtely at least, his green credentials? Bird watching, lots of talk of fuel economy in his columns etc. They've got to him!

Apparantly Cowell is meant to be a genuinely nice bloke.
Anyway,I preferred this format than 1 hr of driving a long way ,cars break down, bits taken off cars, cars work, cars break down, the end.

I had a bit of an update yesterday. The BBC are seeing the talk as the beginning of big fat contract negotiations.
Basically it sounds like Clarkson has been making noises in order to provoke the BBC into giving him a Johnathon Ross style mega deal.

You can tell Clarkson is on the way out of the door by his comment, he has always been outspoken but the other night he was very near the bone.
As for Cowell, yes he is a bit of an **** but I quite like him, he is one of those people that obviously despairs at the state of the rest of the population, I do reckon he had some training, typical driven, Alpha male behaviour, probaly been driving a Chevrolet whatever for months on the QT.
