I know that roundabout well and have seen what happened to Sarah nearly happen loads of times on there due to idiots like the one in the transit that hit her.

Hope you get it all sorted OK and don't take any sh*t from the insurance company!!!

I've seen this many times on there too. I always double-check my blind spot on every roundabout for this, especially on there. So many parts of that junction need revising, like the underpass which drops down from the north side to the Showcase/Ikea which has a filter lane joining with the majority of its traffic needing to cross to the outside lane, and 3 lanes going into 2 on the roundabout On the top side the queue from Bradford for going right onto any of the motorways is always longest and many use the left lane. The wise ones jump out quick and nip into the correct lane, but many just go all the way round in the left and don't even give any indication of their intention to do so. I wish we had more traffic cops to spot and punish this kind of thing, much more dangerous than minor speeding IMHO.

Then i went into panic mode screaming like some idiot
then came the angry mode once i realised the driver of the van was alive i wanted to kick his head in,

am devastated in all fairness, the car is outside on the street and it looks like its been dumped.......

That roundabout is an accident waiting to happen. The three lane entrance into a two lane roundabout isnt the work of genius.

Chris, having been made aware of some past events, maybe it would be best if you didn't come along. I did not realize what had occurred and now understand why some may not want to talk with you. Personally, I don't try socializing in places I feel I am not welcome. The roads are open to one and all, why not just enjoy them on your own or with your new club, rather than make things uncomfortable for you or anyone else. Who knows, in time and if the right gestures are made maybe wounds will heal, but I get the impression that is not now.

Apologies to the club if my naivety caused any problems.

 

Looks like a minor repair skywalker, but I know the pain a scratch causes on the car, glad the missus is ok..
