What I'm saying and what I've been saying from the beginning is that they are not a 'perfectly genuine outfit'. They are a scam, a rip-off and that's plain to see for anyone of reasonable intelligence. You however contend they are 'perfectly genuine'- go figure.

Let's just examine some of the evidence

1.Phishing email to the mark.
2.Small time business based in India running behind cover of superficially professional looking website
3.They want your personal details- credit card numbers, mother's maiden name etc
4.They say their service involves them looking on the internet-websites, chatrooms and 'underground sources' as well as educating the client about potential scams (ie they do nothing)

Read between the lines banana-boy, I can't even believe I'm having to explain the bleeding obvious to a grown man.

Can I interest you in some shares in Amalgamated Telegraph? I keep them in my carpet bag.

"We'll protect your shop against the bad guys." I'm sure I've seen that in a movie somewhere...

No ligit company would ever sent details like that through plain email. Under no circumstances.

I expect to hear more about this in the regular media in the next few days/weeks. Google has no references at all apart from that blog, which is highly suspect. Searches from archive.org are blocked. The owner of the company works (or worked) for an ISP and used to call himself webrobinhood (taking from the wealthy and giving it to the poor ...)

Phishing & social engineering are now a bigger industry than narcotics.

P1mark, please do cancel your cards asap and do report this to the police.
