ok now I'm confused.
i've no idea who this guy/gal is so dont really care whether he's banned or not.
So that's the option I chose in the poll.
However, if I really dont give a sheet, which I dont, why did I waste 45 seconds of my life waiting?
Oh and a further couple of minutes writing this post!

Guys
I haven't read this thread.
But the voting is pointless. Firstly, it is impossible to "vaporise" someone off the board forever. This is simply not possible. We can ban accounts, and we can get the police involved if necessary, but it is physically impossible to completely ban somebody forever.
I did, however, look at the votes, and notice (absolutely as I would have expected) that the biggest vote was for "don't care".
Think about that. Now. The thread was called "Public Vote". This means a number of people who just like voting on things will have clicked the link. How many of those people actually didn't care, but clicked one of the votes anyway?
How many of the people who REALLY care (you know the extremists in life) used their multiple accounts to vote for one or the other?
How many people actually do have an opinion either way, but will have already forgotten this thread exists, and gone on to the rest of their lives?
How many of the people who really don't care, clicked into the thread, saw what the vote was about and just hit the back button?
Basically, the vast majority of people just don't care at all, and we don't need threads about it.
Why?
People like this, are clearly not wanted within a community, but they can't stop themselves from coming back. They actively look forward to arriving back at a place where they're not wanted.
They continue to post in a way that everyone clearly doesn't want.
Why on earth could they be doing this?
The only reason is that they seek attention.
When NACRO saw this thread I guarantee he jumped around with glee.
"Don't feed the trolls".
