So lets get this right....
Just because your sense of humour doesn't match that of some pathetic paid up member....you now get infracted
Get that overturned immediately
Sick jokes have been going for as long as all of us can remember......
If you don't like it, move on...but no need to infract
PATHETIC

Ok, webby says the general consensus on the original post is unwanted so all those who laughed and thought it was ok I think should rate it thumbs up to prove him wrong as I feel the only people who rate posts are those who dont like them,, those that like them just dont bother normally. Lets see what the real general consensus is

To be fair, Sven never lost at all in Europe.
But then again he hasn't got any kids to leave unattended whilst getting pissed.

seems to me theres lots here that walk the line.. yet time and time again , its me thats the scapegoat.. if webby wants to let the infraction stand (as he has said in policy when I queried it) it tells me one of two, possibly three things..
A, even HE doesnt know where the line is
B, someone else is telling him where the line is
(either way perhaps we ALL need clarfication on WHERE this 'line' is???)
Or, finally
C,
there IS one rule for some , one for others........
free speech on this post? lets see shall we?

Most jokes are close to the line in one way or another, and often risk offending someone, that's why they are jokes. Many jokes either poke fun at a group of people or make light of a situation, and some people need to lighten up and take it in the spirit it is meant.
I agree, if a comment is made, which is designed to be offensive, speak out and react to it, but in this case it was obviously a joke and although it may have been in bad taste to some, I'm sure it wasn't posted to be hurtful, but just humour.
What is funny to one person, isn't always to another, and I'm sure whoever has a problem with this has laughed at a joke at some point, which someone else may find equally offensive.

Lisa , For what its worth, I never set out to offend anyone.. it was nothing more than a gag... seemingly the only way im gonna get rid of this particular infration is to climb into my DeLoreon and go back to the future, bump off who ever infracted me ( I would have said at this point castrate them , but seemingly theres little point?!)then go further back in time, to just *before* i started this thread... have '2nd thoughts' due to having prior knowledge of the outcome of said post/thread and carry on in the bliss of not knowing where 'the line' is....

I'm damn certain you never meant to offend anyone, which is why I posted. The majority of people who've posted all seem to agree to, hence their replies or smilies.
As for the infraction, you are probably right that, other than going back in time, it will stand, but this was just a joke and you could have just as easily made it about anything else and been in the same boat.
It's unfair and as I've said, people need to lighten up a bit, a joke is a joke!

Hence why I at it.
It is in bad taste, but like Lisa, and yourself have said, everyone has different sense of humour.
At the end of the day, it was humourous(sp).
Some people get slapped with the ugly stick when they're born, some get deprived of humour. Such is life.

now , according to weeebby, most people think its waaay offensive and have said so.........and I quote.. "Hi Hectic (hmm how friendly/pally )
I think it was just poor taste, and an ill-judged think (THING, surely) to say in a public forum.
The general concensus is negative on your post. ( where?)
If you dice with the limit of taste in a public environment, you kind of have to accept that it could go one way or another. This time its gone "another" Unquote ... now I really think I need to get down to specsavers, cos most posts I can see tend to agree with your comments

my last comment of the day and contribution..
TBH I think your post was completely untasteful and without merit.
There is a fine line between being humourous (as displayed by my immensly hilarious post ) and downright rude. You sir have crossed that line.
Buck your ideas up sonny
sorry, I cant keep this up, I am laughing too much

On this, I don't agree with Webby.
FFS it's a joke. I bet he's got worse jokes on his mobile, I know I have.
At the end of the day, IF the McCann's weren't so lacsidaisical in their approach to child care, then they wouldn't be in this situation, and therefore not the subject of jokes. Thats another discussion though.
Humour is humour. Bit like arseholes and opinions, everyone's got one. Everyones is different though.
