Alcazar, Andrew has problems, the school refuse to admit it and we get fobbed off a lot about it from the School, so for us it is really important that we get to see his teacher about how he is progressing, they also know that so palm us off and try and divert us at any opportunity to not speak to us
Then, at the meeting, put your concerns. Mkae sure both of you go, but DON'T take the lad. Have everything you want to discuss in writing, so as not to forget stuff when/if you get upset. Try to remain calm. (Yes, I know it's hard, I have two lads, the eldest had ADHD. Our life was difficult, his was a misery

Again, don't be fobbed off. Ask them to justify anything they come out with. Ask for results of tests, exams, SATs etc. Ask them their strategies for dealing with the lad, then ask WHY they use said strategy. Ask to see their policies on anything that worries you, in writing.
If you STILL aren't satisfied, ask for a meet with the Chair of governors and/or LEA adviser attached to the school, and if you STILL feel like you've been fobbed off, move him.
