AsI have about 24 bottles of red wine at home at the mo i'm tending to find I'm drinking more at home than going out. Must be me getting older because I actually prefer staying in with a good mixed group of mates and drinking wine with some nice food now.

I quit drinking for a year, not even a sniff of a wine gum. But now i'm making up for lost time.

Did plenty of sleeping during that period. Weird how drinking ***** up your sleep, what with a battle between gandies flip-flop in your mouth and a bladder the size of a beach ball.

and a bladder the size of a beach ball.
I get round that by drinking beer up to about 9pm, then sticking to wine/spirits after that. By the time you go to bed, you've p!ssed out all the beer and the others dont create so much.

Obviously this doesn't work if you're out in the pub.

I tend to drink most nights. Normally 2-3 bottles of grolsh a night. Never wine as I wouldn't get up for work. Wine is for weekends.

I have just started on the Baileys as we are coming up to christmas. Baileys with ice in a shaker!!! Now thats lovely

I've always enjoyed getting drunk on my own, it's nice to know there are others like me. My friends think I'm weird, but I can't understand what there isn't to like about getting drunk on your own.

The stuff I get up too, it's a hoot.

2 bottles of wine and 8 or 10 cans of Harp every night - then I get stuck into it properly at the weekends. Oh - And can I just add - I don't get hangovers.

Thats got to be a test for Americans....

Oh hell.. it isn't.

Well I don't think my drinking's a problem and your only an Alcoholic when you admit to it.

*third edit* Just noticed that the questions were written by some loony american doctor who is probably a lightweight and jealous.

Sod this weekend drinking
I drink every night when I get back from work, either a beer or hit the vodka/redbull/bloody mary...its my god given right to come in, moan about the state of the house, pour myself a long drink, settle down for an hours abuse of you lot, then whack on the tv and relax

Yes, I do drink too much but I have been given my orders that my New years resolution will be no drinking during the week

I generally avoid drinking in the week and then say f*ck it some nights but usually just a couple of cans, some times it escalates !

Weekends, its usually half a bottle of wine with the missus and a couple of cans, I like to nail a couple of cans early on and get a nice buzz and then stop, I tend to find drinking much more is just labouring a point, the more I drink the less I enjoy it and it just stores up aggro for the morning. I think we spend all night trying to replicate that 1st pint joy.

I never continue drinking after i have eaten, it doesn't hit the spot and I am usually full.

I think I probably drink too much but thats compared to the government advice, compared to you lot I am a lightweight !

I enjoy drinking but I tend to find it self limits, if I have a load one day I dont want any the next day, cant face it, being an alcy and having to stop would spoil it.
