Look for a better job that won't give you back ache!
Treat every week day as though its a job, get onto the PC at 0900, update your CV, call agencies, check the job sites, have lunch at 1 pm and crack on until 1700.
By January you'll start getting interviews and when you're ready to go back to work, it will be to hand your notice in!
Seasons Greetings!!

Get some good physio and then hit the slopes e.g. North America.
Or take another big trip somewhere outside Europe. You don't usually get the chance to take such long holidays when you're working.

Book flight cheap online and go somewhere like amsterdam just for the day. Leave 6ish get there for 9am. Have a smoke/beer/shop/**** whatever takes your fancy then fly back on last flight home something like 10/11 at night.
Very random and fairly cheap day out, mate of mine did it a few weeks ago and loved it.

Well, just been back to the doctors, and he has signed me off for another week, so official return to work date is Jan 2nd 08. However he wants to see me on that date to decide if he lets me go back or not.
Therefore my holidays now get pushed back, and I will have to take them once he releases me from sick.
I have also just been given stronger pain killers
100 Co-Dydramol 10mg
and
84 Diclofenac Sodium 50mg
Certainly gonna be an interesting Xmas lol
