I'm on earlies xmas day and boxing day, then nights for the next 4 days. Finish 7am on new years eve morning. Off then till the 4th. Its a rarity for me to have new year off, so its not too bad

I'm on call over Xmas as I have been for the last 8 years. The difference this year is that I'll actually get paid for it (£2k, woohoo).
Hopefully I won't beat last years record 8 calls on Xmas day plus another 6 on Boxing Day

just got phoned today, im away offshore tomorrow for a three week trip, meaning im working both xmas and new year, for the third year in a row

For the first time in 6 years I am not working over xmas.
Now I have to put up with the extended family instead, best go hide all the sharp knives I guess!

Mmm working night shifts at the mo, finish Saturday 22, back on days Sunday 23, off Christmas Eve, working Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Also working New Years Eve just to rub it in, ******* NHS does not reward its staff, Hum Bug
