2 reasons,

1: in response to the post I quoted.
2: To show an alternative to the FP Green and other stock position ones.

If you can provide a good reason why on earth you've spat your dummy out over that I'd love to read it.

I didn't resort to name calling or aggressiveness like you have - i just asked a question.

Are you used to people being aggressive with you?

Why did you feel the need to ask what it had to do with the FP green?

If it will make you feel better about yourself I'll gladly remove it.

JD, of course you may add but dynamix might object

is it the .63 .82 or the 1.06??

That might have been the reason why I asked what it had to do with an FP Green.

Not that I need any info on these, I already know plenty enough thanks but I was trying to help out the OP.

Feel free to digress all you like, your meanderings have no consequence to me.

So its a GT30 Hybrid in the stock position?
Not a true GT30R then?

The FP and and the MD variants are also like this as is the RCMS Hybrid offering.

Dynamix if my posting was so trivial to you why on earth did you need to question it?

You need to sit back and sort yourself out sunshine. Thats a few of your posts some on other areas of this site I've seen now where you've been less than polite without any reason whatsover.

I didn't post the pictures of my set up to be clever or get one upmanship in anyway but for some reason you've percieved it like that. I guess that must be to do with your own insecurities. I'm sorry you felt the need to stir things up and ruin yet another thread, that wasn't my intention.

Let's move on shall we?

I think I had already explained that but it you want me to say it again.. because that is the original subject of the thread and what the original poster wanted to know. Sure, you werent the first to stray from the subject.

Can you quote me being rude anywhere on SN?

Ok mate you can't say I didn't try the olive branch thing. It's quite easy to see the type of person you are.

I guess you just cant cope with the fact that there are people out there with more knowledge and that own outright faster, more powerful and better prepared cars out there than yours.

I'll leave you to it but I do hope you and I end up side by side either on a track or drag strip one day

That all comes out for track days everthing also has quick release pull aprt plugs. There's no carpets, no sound deadening just bare metal floors and two race seats.

Track wise i'm not fussed as I've competed on most.
Favourite has to be Cadwell but that's when i'm on this

Bob'5,
I would be more than willing to prove a 997 Turbo Porsche owner wrong up at Bruntingthorpe. In fact I am up there over the coming weeks doing some more testing..... so if you know of a 997 owner?

Regards,
Shaun

You would need to prove it worthy on the strip first. IIRC a 997T runs 12 flat.

Whats the deal with Bruntingthorpe anyhow? Half/full days/exclusive/shared?

Frayz,
I am not able to comment I am afraid on specifics. I use the same engine as the Powerstation / Litchfield TA 2006 winning car, which was running a hell of a lot more boost and torque than mine does and that never had any liner issues. FWIW mine only runs 1.7bar for those power / torque levels (that is the same as my old 2ltr on the twin scroll ran with only 370bhp). The exhaust housing on the GT30 hyrbid is only a piddly .62 (or is it .63). If I had a larger exhaust housing I could run much more boost and get much better figures..... but obviously decreased response.

Bob'5,
That was a bit below the belt! It must be the gimp behind the wheel though.... hold on thats me!!

Bruntingthorpe is bookable by the hour afaik (not sure if you need to be a verified business and have used them before etc). I am up there on behalf of a motorsport company who use the facility quite often to map and set-up cars.

Regards,
Shaun
