Give the police a rise or strike action!
#61
lol at the ignorant (probably scumbags themselves) posters on here that feel that the police do nothing and think they are getting their own back by adding arsey posts on here.(probably in retaliation for that speeding ticket they once had or that ban for drink driving, I mean why should innocent motorists be targeted, eh!)
The police should not strike, or shouldn't be ever put in this position.
The answer is easy..........Just attend emergencies and everything else can wait until the Government see sense.

Er, I think some people are confused.
Its not the PAY thats the problem, its the fact that the govt have ignored the CAC decision that the pay rise should be back dated.
IMHO this is half the problem with this country, the govt have turned the police into a hated organisation and as such everytime the police is mentioned then everyone gets on their high horse. IMHO this has only really happened in the last 10 years or so.

They did it to teachers too, constantly referring to all those "bad" teachers out there, (if they are so bad, how come results keep going up? And how come they just keep on implementing every crackpot idea hmg comes up with?) Blunkett got in on the act when someone asked him on TV why the government didn't increase the amount of money going into education. He said, "We have increased it, but not one penny is going to go into greedy teacher's pockets!"
Get the public to hate a group of workers, you can then do as you like with them

What like the miners . Back in the 80s seems like the old bill loved to go out and give them a good kick in onthe picket lines .These were people fighting for their jobs . Surely the plod on here dont want our sympathy for their cause especially the traffic scum .

Instead of the bitterness why dont you try working for the emergency services and see how you handle it.
More or less everyone else has managed to contribute to this thread with usefull and informative posts. Unless you have something appropriate to say I suggest you stop trolling.
