Actually that was one of the best meals I've ever had - it's uncannily like a really good beef steak, but much healthier. Must go back one day - Oudtshoorn, South Africa - the ostrich farming capital of the world (apparently).

Think you can also get five birds, even seven according to my Mrs.
And she should know as she will eat anything!

TBF its nothing new, had bird stuffed bird years ago, dont expect a wonderous taste experince tho.
From what i recall, the stronger flavour overcomes the weaker ones, and all you get is a texture experiance
try capon if you want something different
bit too greasy for me though

In addition to the one above, I have one in America as it is a speciality at Thanksgiving and that was disgusting: All three meats were mixed together and then other things like prawns added to the top. It was like a liquidised meat soup (although solidified) -- it was absolutely awful.

Thats just american food for you though, anyone who sticks sugar on eggy bread needs their head looking at
I shall be having fresh, free range, locally rared Goose - it can be a bit expensive but is one of the best things ever.
And before anyone says it, it is NOT greasy.. you just can't cook properly.
