I thought it made good watching too, not what you expect from the trailer, but good none the less.

Gets a thumbs up from me

I liked it. I've watched it about 3 times, so fully understand it now.
Only gripe was, as someone mentioned, the CGI. The "vampires" were just pale, bald and angry humans that were good at jumping. There's no need for them to be CGI. It almost made it like a Harry Potter film.

I thought it was a terrible film. Didn't explore the idea well at all. Felt like it was going to do something then just never went anywhere. Total flop for me.

i;m just on with downloading it now... there are certain films which i wanna see, in good quality aswell, and this is one of them... but.. i'm not gonna pay 7 quid, to go into cineworld, to have to fight for the seats, to then find a seat, to then have a big fat bloke with an affro sit in front of me and spoil my view... if that dunt happen, then u end up with a gang of teens, sat at the back thinking its funny to launch popcorn and sweets at people.. and for seven quid too.. put all that aside, and i can download, burn and watch, for basically **** all.. even on a 37 inch plasma the films look great, and with the added home cinema surround sound, i can sit in the recliner with a can of beer and some popcorn and watch it in peace!!!

Sounds appealing stringostar but that way you don't get to feel like a 'big man' when you have a crack at the little wakners.

String, man after my own heart I've got it D/L'd ready for my media HDD from Maplins (when they get some in). Watched the film the other night at w*rk on a 23" Apple Cinema Display and agree with all the other criticisms. Good start highlighting his loneliness and the way nature was quickly reclaiming what was hers once man was gone. The creatures were built up with reasonable menace but once exposed were clumsily handled in a hurried and predictable finale. Reasonable salutes to The Omega Man, 28 Days Later and The Descent, but ultimately not as good a film as any of them. I also found myself chuckling at the obligatory marketing placements which go hand-in-hand with any Smith movie these days

the HDD media players are fantastic... our old boy has one hooked up to the pull down screen coupled to a projector... so my plan is to watch it on there once i have burned it.. the usual thig i do is to download a movie to the laptop, then connect that to the TV via VGA cables... works in a similar way then to the media player..

NACRO - its the wife who has a go at the youngens in the cinema. if i dare say a word to them, they kicks my head in, then turns to them and says it your turn next...boys!!! cant argue with her in doors

String, I could do that but my ancient laptop struggles with video playback, especially over 700mb worth. Currently D/L'ing to the lappy HDD, but when I get the Media HDD I'll USB that to the lappy and save directly onto it. No burning, converting, compressing etc. Just torrent, D/L, watch

fbladerv900, I've got that D/L'd to watch too, but having had a quick look it looks like a screener Will see if I can find a better torrent for it.

Its a real good screener. Very small watermark pops up about 4 times in the whole film, bottom of the screen, "This is the property of blah blah etc

I thought it was bloody great, brillaint scary jumpy film
If your into 28 days later, you'll love it

Have to say, i haven't jumped at a film for ages like i did with I Am Legend
The suspense parts were really well done, especially when he stumbled on the 'nest' whilst trying to find his dog

My missus was nearly in tears when it inevitable jumpy bit came
It didn't get me that bad tho, as i am a man and am hard

You and your bird must be easily pleased. It's a film for people with below average IQ. That or she gave you a hand job during the film.

In tears? lol Is she unstable or something then? I mean come on, it's not even that scary really. Kinda obvious when something is going to happen to.

Ok i was exaggerating there a bit
She normally watches chick flicks, and scares quite easily, so i like it when she seeks cover in my jacket pocket
