Cheers mate ............... I do think I will win in court

They are taking on an Electronics Engineer - I will eat their 'Tech Guys' for breakfast 1st question, how does a Plasma TV work? I will fill in what they don't know Will make the judge laugh

I like Judges, they are behind the underdog at the start - just act humble and it's in the bag Currys will come in with a solicitor and £££££million backing against a poor innocent OAP like me with walking stick and wheelchair ............................................... game, set and new TV to me

It's a public hearing - you need the permission of the judge - but should be ok!!

I'm printing those images and they are not coming out very good - anyone any ideas?

I don't want to print them and then point to the dot - I want the dot to be obvious.

Take a laptop to the court with the pic's on, if thats allowed. Or better still, the actual TV. I would have thought the judge would like to see the problem themself.

Problem there being they might not have been to Specsavers - like Mart360.

Thats a great idea!!

It shows up really well on a PC Screen ...... I have no laptop, but could borrow one maybe?

Taking the big TV in is an idea but fraught with problems ...... the Court Rooms are on the 3rd floor!

What did you expect Pete, people to fawn over you going "ooh look a green pixel"

in the first pics its very obvious... in the two pics with images on them, its not obvious..

hence you will have to prove that in court...

Now if its due to your crap photography, then what do you expect...

re having no teeth, just remember, it was you posting a while back about having raging toothache

Picture Quality and the case was not up to LG standards - or I would have!!

I went into the shop to buy a Panasonic Viera - came out with the LG, it blew the Panny away. But thats all been done to death - I buy with my brain and my eyes, not because everyone else was buying them!

I've only got half a brain, but a fully functioning 50" plasma telly Viewed it next to offerings by LG, Pioneer and Sony. The Pio wasn't worth the extra, the LG image looked over-tweaked and un-natural, the Sony LCD looked artificial on natural images (but stunning on digital animation, which I rarely watch), the Pana was good in all areas. I also compared it to the only 1080p plasma you could buy at the time and the difference was not £3500 worth, although just 1 year later 1080p is now the same price as I paid for a 768 pixel set.

Excellent repair tool ............ if the set was sold to me as faulty I could do something like that.

I asked for a TV, the SAME as the one on the shop floor .... they gave me a broken one and charged me full price for it.

And therin lies the issue ..............

Wink

Currys are awful, they will lie to your face to save a couple of quid.

I hope you win, Pete. Get some compo too.

DON'T accept a new TV from Currys, make 'em give you your money back, then buy online or ANYWHERE but Currys.

To be fair someone with half a brain and bad eyesight would probably have gone for the LG from Currys. Now a full brain and two working eyes would have you walking out of a decent shop with the Panny

Apparently if you apply something warm and moist to the screen it can cure 'always on' pixels. I read on one forum that licking the area would create the ideal amount of warmth and moisture
