did 500m reps on the ergo when training for indoor rowing champs. used to 1.30min * 5 (sometimes give it welly on final rep to go under 1.20-1.25min ish)
was able to go sub 6min for 2000m of the back of that training.

Swimming - I sink! I can swim (don't do breast stroke though) but even with a huge lungful of air I sink. Rowing - I get a blister/rub the skin off my cocxyx(sp?). So I do spinning and swissballs with my GF at the gym and rockclimbing at weekends.
